I know this guy. And yes, he’s a nice guy. Recently divorced with a few kids. He’s not happy with his ex wife. She cheated on him and left him home alone to watch their kids… while she was out cheating. He paid the bills, worked his ass off to support the family, and again, all the while she was out cheating on him.
Not a very good situation for anyone to be in, that’s for sure.
On top of all his concerns, good looking women kind of scare them. He just does not seem to feel good enough for them. He calls them perfect. He says what if she has a boyfriend. He worries about what to say to them, and how to act around them. Honestly though…I’m not sure if he even cares how attractive she is. He wasn’t clear on that at all.
But I did “not so casually” mention to him one word. One word that can changes your entire dating life. One word that without you will never have consistent success with a beautiful women. In fact you will probably not have much long term success with any woman, no matter how attractive you or I might find her.
I know you know exactly what I’m going to say. I can sense that about nice guys. It’s the second word any nice guy dreads to hear. It’s a huge reason why most nice guys fail with women. So they avoid all aspects of the word as if they’re hoping it will go away. But it won’t. It can’t. It’s there for a reason and without it our history just would not be the same.
Are you ready for it yet? Cool.
Status.
Yes Status. Without it, simply put, you will lose. Sure you can find some crazy ass girls to mess with your head. Sure you can find some low self-esteem chic (only because your self-esteem is slightly higher than hers). You might even find a girlfriend to be yours, for a while. But when her feelings begin to tell her your status is a lot lower than she though she will do one of many things. She will dump you immediately. She could stick around and cheat on you. Or she could grow distant from you more and more with each passing day until you find a way to screw up so badly she will use that as the excuse of why she left you.
You see my friend I mentioned above might feel he is just experiencing all these questions. Perhaps he thinks this is a new problem in his life.
It saddens me to say that it has always been with him. It’s probably the biggest reason why he ended up in such a terrible relationship in the first place…
Must guys that I talk to confuse one major issue of another element of attraction. The Alpha Male. Whenever they hear that term they automatically think it’s some dude with huge muscles and a screw you all attitude. Sure that may be true for that one particular case but really an Alpha Male is a leader who maintains higher status and is not affected by a woman’s looks, tests, or overly emotional states.
That is a quickest definition I can come up with at the moment, there’s is so much more to the whole Alpha Male. But for the case of this post it does just fine. The important part to remember is that they do have high self-esteem and they do have equal or higher status than the women they are attracting.
Think of it this way…
You may not be able to have any women you want by increasing your status alone. There’s so much more to it. But I can guarantee if you have lower status you WILL not attract women consistently, or attract them at all.
